    Summary

    We analyze collective dynamics of a population of electronic limit-cycle oscillators with a linear or nonlinear phase shifting unit in the global feedback loop. We conduct both physical experiment and mathematical m54odeling. Besides the standard Kuramoto synchronization transition in case of linear coupling we demonstrate a transition to a self-organized quasiperiodic state, predicted in [M. Rosenblum and A. Pikovsky, Phys. Rev. Lett., 98, 064101 (2007)]. In this state frequency of oscillators differs from the frequency of the mean field and dependence of the order parameter on the coupling strength is not monotonic. We demonstrate a good correspondence between the experiment and previously developed theory.

    The article primary results theoretical and experimental researches for defining the loads during explosive burning of air-gas-dusty mixtures. The rated equations for definition of the maximal load arising at explosion of a coal dust in industrial facility are resulted. The possibility of carrying out of analogy is marked by explosions of a coal dust and air-gas mixtures. Influence of various factors on speed propagation of a flame is analyzed at explosion. The rightness of the choosen theoretical premises was confirmed by the experimental researches.

    Summary

    There are a great variety of wind turbine constructions but by their principle of operation they are divided into three main types – sail (Savonius wind power unit), propeller and airfoils (Darrie wind turbine). At present, propeller-type wind-turbines are the most widely spread. They are produced on a commercial level in many countries. Other conditions being equal, the power produced by wind power unit (WPU) is proportional to the area being swept around by a wind wheel. Therefore, Megawatt propeller-type wind turbines have blades with the length of 40 and more meters. Only aircraft works with a highly-qualified personnel and corresponding equipment can produce such long blades of a specific shape. Of high interest have become airfoil wind turbines (Darrie WPU) lately. They are of a simpler construction and have a quite high wind power utilization factor ( =0.45). In spite of the fact that this is a good index of WPU efficiency, I have developed a new version of a wind turbine which allows increasing 1.3-1.6 times the value of this coefficient. This apparatus is named a Bi-Darrie unit. This paper presents the description of a Bi-Darrie unit, the principle of its operation and the possibility of increasing the wind power utilization factor. Also, the results of testing an acting laboratory model in an aerodynamic tunnel and a full-length apparatus are reported.

    Summary

    The approximate analytical method of the charged particles trajectories calculations in the hexapole cylindrical field has been described. The trajectories were determining with help of the optimally chosen power series segments superposition, the recurrent relation for the coefficients of the power series was found. It is presented detailed calculation of the charged particles trajectories for a scheme, based on the hexapole cylindrical field, which was not studied earlier. On the proposed methods the corpuscular optical schemes with the hexapole cylindrical field have been calculated. The proposed approximate analytical method allows to describe the trajectories of charged particles in these fields with high accuracy.
